Fellow Bicyclist,

I'd like to invite you to our 4th Annual Charity Case 100,to be held on Saturday September 23rd. Last year we raised over  $3620.00 with 29 Riders for our favorite local charities including :  PMC - Jimmy Fund, Lance Armstrong Foundation, HOPE Worldwide New England, S.I.D.S., M.S., National Public Radio, Alzheimer Assoc., Buddy Walk, Salvation Army, and National Alliance for Autism Research.

Dennis Young approached me on this concept 4 years ago. He felt that the high fees associated with many of the existing Charity Rides were  creating a barrier to participation. In other words the Charity Rides have become much too expensive $$.

Our Mission is simple.  All we ask is that you pick your favorite Charity and make a donation to it. The amount is up to you. It's that simple. Start Training today because while your donation is as steep as you want, the hills aren't!!!

Thank You

Peter Englert & Dennis Young

Dear Participants,

Less than a year ago Erica Beauchamp my neighbor lost her battle with cancer and left behind a husband and three young children. On September the 10th there will be a walk in Wilbraham in her honor to raise money for her particular cancer department at Dana Farber in Boston. I know many of you each year donate to some wonderful charities but if you haven't done so this year or you would like to donate again I would like to ask you to donate to Dana Farber in Erica's memory. You can give me your check if donating and I will send them to the committee who arranged the walk and let them know they were from our ride. Thanks for considering this!

p.s. you can make your checks out to Head and Neck Cancer Research in ACC

This Year's Route.....

This ride will challenge you. in past years the 100 mile loop has brought us through the Towns of Broadbrook,Stafford, Wales, Brimfield, Sturbridge, Ware, The Quabbin, Monson, Etc and ended up with more than 95-115+ miles .

This Year we will again provide maps and if time allows paint arrows on the road. The 100 Mile ride again will be extra challenging featuring what I consider some of the nicest backcountry roads in the area.

As this Ride is unsupported (No Sag Wagon, No Official Rest stops, No Hand Holding...) It would be best if  you group up according to your ability and suffer along with your friends. In the end this all adds to the fun.
