Now that the group is larger we need to follow some basic rules
*I've replaced references to anyone in particular with generic icons as not to offend any personal sensitivities.

  • And the 5:30 leaves at? You guessed it, 5:30.
  • Know the route...get a map of the route (Don't follow you know who!!)
  • If you can't hang with the "Big Dogs" know where the rest of us are going
  • Bring a Blinker
  • Everyone must wear a helmet
  • Stop at road intersections ( Don't follow you know who through red lights)
  • Hand holding is not available you must be able to keep up with a moderate pace (14-18 ave mph)
  • While riding in a pace line ride smooth and steady (Not like you know who)
  • Use caution at Town line Sprints. Avoid the Glasgow two step!!
  • Be prepared to Fix your own flat
  • You are riding at your own risk and road riding can be dangerous. Be Street Smart!!
  • Ride single file in busy areas (keep the rednecks happy)
  • Road bikes are a must
  • Name, Rank and serial number is all the information you are required to give out to you know who.
  • Dinner speeches are strictly Verboten !!!

Grouping up into a Peloton and forming a Pace-Line is not only fun it's more efficient.

From SheldonBrown.com:
A group of cyclists riding close behind one another in a line, so that each cyclist can draft the cyclist in front, except, of course for the leader, who is taking a turn to pull the rest of the group. The riders take turns pulling and drafting. A group of cyclists in a pace line can maintain a substantially higher speed than even the fastest of the group could do alone.
